Voice Control
Speak to Bom from your phone and let it answer back out loud.
How to Use Voice
- Tap the microphone button on the mobile Home screen or on the mobile Worker page.
- Speak your command clearly while the recording timer runs.
- Tap Stop, or let Bom stop automatically after 30 seconds.
- Bom sends the recording for speech-to-text, runs the command, and can read the answer back with text-to-speech.
Supported Languages
Bom currently supports speech recognition and spoken replies for Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, Thai, Vietnamese, and Indonesian.
Bom does not auto-detect any spoken language blindly. Mobile transcription is sent with your browser or app language hint, so change your device or browser language if recognition keeps choosing the wrong locale.
Full-Screen Voice Mode
From the mobile Home screen you can expand into full-screen voice mode. This keeps the live desktop visible while Bom speaks answers out loud and lets you start the next recording immediately.
If Bom is still speaking and you want to interrupt, tap the microphone again. Bom stops playback and returns to listening mode.
Tips for Best Results
- Use a quiet environment whenever possible.
- Keep commands specific and short enough to fit inside the 30-second recording limit.
- Use Worker for follow-up discussion after the first voice command if you need a longer thread.
