Installation

Get Bom Agent running on your computer in just a few minutes.

What You Need

  • Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), or macOS 12 and above
  • At least 4 GB of memory (8 GB recommended)
  • An internet connection for the initial setup
  • A Claude Pro/Max or Codex subscription (Bom uses your existing subscription — no extra cost)
Note

Bom runs entirely on your own computer. Your files and data stay on your machine.

Download and Install

  1. Go to bom.bomtobe.com and click "Download Free".
  2. Open the downloaded file. On Windows, approve the security prompt if one appears.
  3. The installer will set everything up automatically. When it finishes, Bom Agent appears in your system tray (the small icon area near the clock).
Tip

On Windows, you can also install from the Microsoft Store — search for "BOM Agent".

First-Time Setup

When Bom launches for the first time, it opens the Settings page. Here you will:

  1. Sign in with your Google account. Bom uses your Google account for authentication only — it accesses Google services like Calendar and Sheets through browser automation.
  2. Choose your preferred AI provider. If you have a Claude subscription, select "Claude Code". If you use Codex, select "Codex".
  3. Bom will automatically install the tools it needs (this takes a minute or two on the first run).
Tip

You can change your AI provider or Google account at any time in Settings.
