System Tray & Auto-Start
Bom stays ready in the background so it is always available when you need it.
The System Tray Icon
When you close the Bom window, it does not shut down — it minimizes to the system tray (the small icon area near your clock). Click the icon to bring Bom back.
- Left-click the icon to show or hide the window.
- Right-click for a menu with Show and Quit options.
- The icon stays visible while Bom is running, even if the window is hidden.
Starting Automatically
You can set Bom to start automatically when you turn on your computer. This way, Bom is always ready — including for scheduled tasks and mobile connections.
To enable auto-start, open Settings and turn on the "Start when computer starts" option. Bom will launch minimized to the tray.
Quitting Completely
To fully close Bom (not just hide it), right-click the system tray icon and choose "Quit". This stops all background processes, including scheduled tasks and screen sharing.
If you quit Bom, your phone will not be able to connect, and scheduled tasks will not run until you start Bom again.
