Screen Streaming
See your desktop screen on your phone, live.
How It Works
When you open the Bom mobile app, the home screen shows a live view of your desktop. The image updates several times per second so you can see what is happening in real time.
Bom tries to connect directly between your phone and computer for the best quality. If a direct connection is not possible, it uses the Bom server as a relay.
Full-Screen Mode
Tap the full-screen button (the expand icon in the corner of the screen view) to fill your entire phone screen with your desktop. Tap the button again or swipe to exit full-screen.
Multiple Monitors
If your computer has more than one screen, you can choose which one to view. A dropdown appears above the screen view showing all available displays.
The primary monitor is selected by default. Switch to another display any time without interrupting the stream.
Connection Status
A small badge in the corner shows the connection status:
- "LIVE" with a green dot — connected and streaming.
- A loading animation — connecting or reconnecting.
- If the desktop agent is offline, you will see an "Offline" message.
