Terms of Service

These terms explain the conditions for using the Bom service provided by BomToBe. Bom includes the desktop agent, web-based remote UI, mobile companion app, and related APIs and integration flows.
1. Service Description
Bom is an AI desktop agent service that executes real tasks on your computer and connects status checking and approval flows across web and mobile. The service may include the following elements.
- Cloud-based authentication, session routing, and command relay services
- Desktop agent application that executes tasks on your computer using CLI AI agents (Claude Code, Codex)
- Web-based remote UI (PWA) and mobile companion app for monitoring and control
- Browser automation for interacting with web services including Google Calendar, Sheets, and Docs
- Scheduled task automation and multi-task parallel execution
2. Account and Access
- Service use requires a Google account for authentication.
- Users must manage their own account, connected devices, sessions, and approval flows.
- Account sharing or unauthorized connection of third-party devices is prohibited.
3. Permitted and Prohibited Use
Users may use the service only for lawful and legitimate purposes. The following actions are prohibited.
- Using the service for malicious code execution, illegal access, or privilege escalation
- Attempting to bypass approval procedures, rate limits, or security policies
- Unauthorized access to others' accounts, devices, or data
- Automated execution that violates laws or regulations
- Causing harm to others through the service, including spam, harassment, or fraud
4. Local Execution and Approval Responsibility
- Bom's actual execution occurs on your desktop agent, following your system permission context.
- Sensitive or destructive operations may be re-confirmed through approval gates.
- You are responsible for reviewing execution and approval requests and must exercise caution regarding system changes resulting from approvals.
5. Google Authentication
Bom uses Google OAuth for account authentication. By signing in with your Google account, you acknowledge the following.
- Bom requests only basic profile information (name, email) through Google OAuth 2.0 for sign-in purposes. No Calendar, Sheets, Docs, or Slides API scopes are requested.
- Google services such as Calendar, Sheets, and Docs are accessed through browser automation on your desktop agent, not through Google APIs.
- All browser automation tasks are initiated by your explicit chat instructions or scheduled tasks you configure. Bom does not autonomously access your Google services.
- You can revoke Bom's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account settings (https://myaccount.google.com/permissions).
- Your use of Google services through Bom's browser automation is subject to Google's Terms of Service.
6. Third-Party Services and Integrations
The service may operate alongside external services such as Google, AI providers, notification infrastructure, and browser automation target sites. When you utilize these features, each third-party service's terms and policies may also apply.
7. Service Changes and Availability
- We may change, improve, or discontinue all or part of the service.
- Service may be temporarily restricted due to updates, maintenance, outages, or external service issues.
- Certain features or integrations may be provided differently based on region, device, or operating environment.
8. Intellectual Property
Rights to the service's software, design, documentation, trademarks, and brand elements belong to BomToBe or their rightful owners. These terms do not imply that users acquire ownership or source code rights to the service itself.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided as is to the extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant that the service will always operate error-free or fully meet any particular purpose.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or special damages arising from use or inability to use the service. This may include damages from file manipulation, system changes, automation failures, or external integration outages.
Unless otherwise required by mandatory regulations, our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
- If a user violates these terms or seriously harms service operations, we may restrict or terminate access.
- Users may request account deletion at any time, and related data processing follows the Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes related to the service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
