Settings
Settings controls every preference in Bom Agent.
Main sections
- General — language, launch at login, tray icon
- CLI priority — Claude / Codex failover order
- Tools — enable/disable the 21 MCP tools
- Video Editor — default output folder, default auto-ducking
- Security — confirmation policy for risky actions
- Account — sign out, delete data
Enable / disable tools
Toggle individual MCP tools. Disabled tools are hidden from the LLM and their runtime is shut down.
Tip
Disabling heavyweight tools you don't use (Blender, Fusion) frees memory and disk.
Permission modes
Risky actions (deleting files, calling external APIs) can be configured to ask every time, ask once per session, or never ask. Default is "Always Ask".
Warning
"Never Ask" is only recommended for users who fully trust their automations.
