Quick Start
You have Bom installed — now let's put it to work.
Send Your First Command
- Click the Bom icon in the system tray (near the clock) to open the main window.
- You will see a text box that says "Tell your AI assistant what to do..."
- Type something simple, like: "What is the weather in Seoul today?" and press Enter.
- Bom will start working. You will see a live stream of what it is doing, and the final answer will appear when it finishes.
Tip
You can give Bom complex tasks too, like "Check my calendar for this week and summarize it" or "Find large files on my desktop and list them by size".
Understanding the Home Screen
The home screen has three main areas:
- Command box — where you type what you want Bom to do.
- Status panel — shows whether Bom is working on something, idle, or connecting.
- Quick links — shortcuts to Chat (for longer conversations) and Vault Graph (for your memories).
Connect from Your Phone
Bom comes with a mobile app that lets you control your desktop remotely. You can see your screen, send voice commands, and transfer files — all from your phone.
- Download the Bom app from your device's app store.
- Sign in with the same account you used on desktop.
- Your phone will automatically connect to your desktop agent.
Note
Your desktop agent must be running for the mobile app to connect.
