Quick Start

You have Bom installed — now let's put it to work.

Send Your First Command

  1. Click the Bom icon in the system tray (near the clock) to show the main window.
  2. On Home, type a simple request into the main command box — for example, "What is the weather in Seoul today?"
  3. Press Enter or tap Send. Bom starts the Home session immediately.
  4. Watch the live stream panel while Bom works. Tool output and the final answer appear in the same Home session.
Tip

Home is best for one active command stream. For longer back-and-forth work, switch to Worker.

Understand the Desktop Layout

The desktop app is organized around a few key surfaces:

  • Home — the main command box, live execution stream, readiness summary, and mobile QR codes.
  • Dashboard — your local memory graph and project learning tools.
  • Worker — threaded conversations and detailed run inspection.
  • Automation and Settings — schedules, browser sign-in, provider configuration, permissions, and system checks.

Connect from Your Phone

Bom also has a mobile companion app for screen streaming, quick commands, voice control, and file transfer.

  1. Download the Bom app from your device's app store.
  2. Sign in with the same Bom account you used on desktop.
  3. Keep the desktop agent running so your phone can connect and stay in sync.
Note

If you close the desktop window, Bom usually stays in the system tray. If you fully quit it, mobile features and scheduled tasks stop until you reopen Bom.
