Home & Main Command

The home screen is your starting point for telling Bom what to do.

Sending a Command

Type your request in the text box at the top of the home screen and press Enter. Bom will immediately start working on it.

You can ask Bom to do almost anything on your computer — search the web, manage files, update spreadsheets, control applications, take screenshots, and much more.

Tip

Be specific about what you want. Instead of "help me with my schedule", try "check my calendar for today's meetings and summarize them".

Watching Bom Work

While Bom is running your command, the status panel shows a live feed of what it is doing. You will see:

  • The tools it is using (like taking a screenshot, opening a browser, or typing text)
  • The results from each step
  • A timer showing how long it has been working
  • The final answer or result when it finishes
Note

The home screen handles one command at a time. For back-and-forth conversations, use the Chat page instead.

Below the command area, you will find shortcut cards:

  • Chat — opens the conversation view for multi-turn interactions.
  • Vault Graph — shows your memories as an interactive graph.
