Home & Main Command

Home is the desktop starting point for one main command stream.

Sending a Command

Type your request into the main command box at the top of Home and press Enter or tap Send. Bom starts a dedicated Home session right away.

This Home session is separate from Worker threads. It is best for a single active task such as checking something online, organizing files, or running a quick desktop action.

Tip

If you expect a long conversation or multiple follow-up turns, move to Worker instead of stacking everything into Home.

Watching the Main Session

The stream panel shows what Bom is doing in real time. Depending on the run, you may see planning, queueing, delegation, tool usage, tool output, and the final answer.

  • User prompts and Bom replies in the same Home stream
  • Tool calls and optional tool output details
  • Status changes such as queued, thinking, working, or delegating
  • The final response when the run completes

Readiness and Navigation

Below the stream, Home also shows a readiness summary so you can confirm provider selection, server connectivity, working directory, auto-approve, website sign-in, auto-start, and essential tool checks at a glance.

  • Use the left navigation to open Dashboard, Worker, Automation, Profile, and Settings.
  • Scan the QR codes to install the mobile app from the App Store or Google Play.
  • Use the documentation button to open the Bom docs site in your browser.
