Memory & Dashboard

Bom can remember important information and learn from your projects.

How Memory Works

When you work with Bom, it can save useful information — facts, preferences, project details — so it can recall them later. This memory is stored locally on your computer.

  • Bom automatically captures key facts from your conversations.
  • You can tell Bom to remember something specific (e.g., "Remember that my project deadline is March 15").
  • Bom recalls relevant memories when you start a new conversation.

The Dashboard

The Dashboard page shows all your stored memories as an interactive graph. Each dot represents a memory, and lines connect related memories.

  • Dots are colored by type — facts, preferences, and file summaries.
  • Click on a dot to see the full memory.
  • Use the zoom and pan controls to explore large graphs.

Learning from Files

Tap the "Learn" button on the Dashboard to let Bom scan your working folder. It will read your files, create summaries, and link related information together. This helps Bom give better answers about your projects.

Note

Learning can take a few minutes depending on how many files you have. You can cancel it at any time.
